Lenahan Wins Inaugural Queen Bee Half Marathon

A total of 4,280 registered for the sold-out event, which included the Half Marathon and 4-Miler

CINCINNATI (October 11, 2014) – Katie Lenahan from Cincinnati is the winner of the inaugural Cincinnati Queen Bee Half Marathon empowered by Kroger and P&G, in a time of 1 hour, 22 minutes, 35 seconds.

Second was Laurah Luken in 1:29:08 and third was Casey Fahrerin 1:31:23.


A total of 4,280 registered for the sold-out event, which included the Half Marathon and 4-Miler. The winner of the 4-Miler wasAllison Echler of Cincinnati.



“It was a fun course, and the crowds in the neighborhoods were fantastic,” said Lenahan, who ran track and cross country at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. The event was run in nearly perfect weather, under partly cloudy skies and temperatures at the start in the lower 50s.
