BROOKLYN, New York- The inaugural Brooklyn 15 Kilometer Run (The "B15"), scheduled for Sunday, April 21, officially replaces the Brooklyn Bun.  The B15 will bring a 3-loop course around beautiful, world- renowned Prospect Park with a finish at Bartel-Pritchard Square, the intersection of Prospect Park West and Prospect Park Southwest.

The B15 will offer an additional 5K run for the shorter sprint participants and a 2K run for youth participants under 14 years old.  Splits will be offered for each loop of Prospect Park to measure performance for each racer.

“The running community asked for a spring event with a unique distance and a prime location. The B15 is exactly that,” said Jack Caress, President and CEO of Pacific Sports LLC.  “The Brooklyn Bun was very successful and showed tremendous growth in participation within the first two years.  We expect to surpass those participation levels with the launch of the B15.”
