bruary 2, 2014. Battling tough weather conditions, Ben Bruce of Flagstaff, Ariz., made his first go at 26.2 miles a memorable one, winning in 2 hours, 21 minutes, 56 seconds. Former NFL lineman and LSU alum, Alan Faneca (right, photo credit Andrew McClanahan) also completed his first marathon in 3:56:17, following a significant weight loss of more than 100 lbs after retiring from the NFL.
